With Apostle Moses Mukisa
What do you need to ignore today and instead focus your faith to believe God’s Word or what you have asked in prayer?
Many times, we also make the mistake of seeing God as one who works apart from us. One who does His own things, in His own way, in His own time without involving us.
It is in the place of rest that we can hear the voice of God as He instructs us on how to live this earthly life in victory.
f we start with the one thing that is needed, it unlocks the power or ease to do other things better.
The “He who believes and is baptized” in the scripture above indicates that he who believes should also be baptized.
As seen from the scripture above, baptism was a command from Jesus to His disciples, for all the people who would become His followers
So, what will you choose today? Will you settle for a life focused on yourself? Or will you reach out, offer up, and ignite a fire that spreads His love and transforms lives – including your own?
Choose this day how you shall live; by faith or by fear. Pick up your Bible, read about the promises God has made concerning you and declare them over and over again.
Here is the point I have been trying to get to: in John 15:11, while speaking to the disciples, Jesus says, "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full."
Even if we do not see immediate results, we should speak positively, believing and acting as though we have already got it!
Turn on your PRAISE. Turn on your JOY. Hold onto your PEACE. Give THANKS to GOD for He is with you in the midst of that trouble.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. NKJV
Indeed, the one true way for Christians to multiply the graces on their lives is to make disciples.
Psalms 91:16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation. NKJV
David in Psalm 23:4 puts it this way “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Only the Word of God is truth; stick to that, draw your conclusions from there, and the Spirit of God will preserve you!
James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. NKJV
We should live on the basis of God’s promises; we should pray on the basis of God’s promises; and we should serve on the basis of God’s promises.
Mark 1:35 Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed. NKJV
I immediately noticed that though we were doing it without knowledge, this seems to be the same exact strategy God had given us for catalyzing spiritual, social and economic renewal in our cities.
