Mark 11:24 NKJV
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Recently on a random Saturday Apostle Mosze called  me to check on how I was doing, which was so heart warming. During our conversation he asked me how Mbarara is and I told him it was hot, and indeed it was  extremely hot.

It was so hot that the team that had come for Awakening (a special outreach event) felt like the heat in Mbarara was twice the heat in Kampala. When Apostle called me  that  Saturday morning,  it felt like midday because of the heat outside.

He asked me, If we had experienced any drizzles  to which I responded, ‘Nothing.’ He then said to me  ‘It is going to rain.’ I responded, ‘I hope so.’He went on to tell  me, ‘Don’t  hope. Believe. May be that is why I called.’ I responded, ‘I believe.’He said ‘It is going to rain today or a few hours after this call.’ I responded, ‘Amen!’

In a less than an hour the clouds changed. Before we knew it, it was drizzling and we had to remove the clothes we had hung. In a few minutes it started raining HEAVILY, the kind were you have to close the windows because water is coming in from outside. It  has been raining since that phone call.

According to Jesus’ Words, there is no limit  to what  we can receive when we pray as long as we believe. The controlling factor is our faith. If we believe, we will receive, if we doubt we will do without like Andrew Wommack says.

One of the enemies of our faith is  our  sight, because I had looked outside and all I saw was white clouds, I found it hard to believe that rain was going to fall.  But thank God for  His servant who did not care what it looked like but instead got me to focus on what could be. And the moment  I switched from  sight to faith, the rain came. What a blessing!

What do you need to ignore today and instead focus your faith to believe God’s Word or what you have asked in prayer?
