Genesis 1:11-12 NKJV
Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.  And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Every year, on April 30th, my husband and I celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our story began over twenty years ago when my husband pointed at me and said, "That's the girl I'm going to marry." It's funny because at the time, we were not even friends, and I did not know he had said that. But six years later, it came true, and those who heard him saying it still cannot believe it.

We see the same happening in Genesis 1:11-12, when God created the vegetation but it neither sprouted nor physically manifested until day six after the land had been watered and tilled.

Genesis 2:4-7 NKJV
This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.

The vegetation although created and in existence, did not immediately manifest in the physical! Interpreting the phrase "watered and worked" in Genesis 2:5, primarily emphasizes the physical actions of irrigation and cultivation necessary for making the land fertile. However, I draw a parallel between the idea of the land being barren until it is "watered and worked" and the notion that we may not physically manifest what has been created with our words until there is BELIEF and ACTION!

Even if we do not see immediate results, we should speak positively, believing and acting as though we have already got it! Whether it is getting a job, paying off debts, healing a sick person, or finding love, we should speak as if it's already happened. Just like God created the world out of nothing, we, too, have the power to create and must walk in the faith that what we speak has already manifested.

Create with your words and believe in their power!
