A Multiplication of Grace

II Timothy 2:1-2
You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. NKJV

Last week, I had the privilege of being one of the pastors who was sent out to do an Awakening event. I was sent to Worship Harvest Mbarara and was hosted very well by the Ssenyonjos. As I drove to Mbarara with a team of nine people from the Highflyers Network, I couldn’t help but marvel at the goodness of God and how far we’d come as a ministry. This trip reminded me of a time me when we would all sit in a bus loaded with equipment and people and head to different schools to do ministry. I also reflected on the fact that now 24 teams had been sent out to do different Awakenings at some of the different Worship Harvest churches. What was even more exciting was that many of these churches now have their property, so we did not need to rent any premises to have these events. What was once one team going out has now turned into 24 teams and as our Apostle has prophesied, we will one day have thousands of teams going out to do ministry and bring in thousands of salvations for the LORD Jesus. Hallelujah!

I realized that God had multiplied the Grace on Apostle Moses’ life through the many disciples he had raised and is now able to send out to do ministry. He has also multiplied his wisdom through the building of many churches where the Word of God can be taught. This is what we often call a ‘Multiplication of Grace’. So through the many disciples that were sent out to do the different Awakenings, the Apostle was strong in Grace.

Psalms 127:3-5
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate. NKJV

Indeed, the one true way for Christians to multiply the graces on their lives is to make disciples.
