Friends,

Today, we stand at the threshold of history as we get into Naalya. As I said last Sunday, Worship Harvest will never be the same again. We have taken a step of faith; a step of growth. We are working around the clock to ensure that your experience whether at Naalya or at Kati Kati is exactly the same. Same message, same music, same hospitality, same levels of excellence and of course the same Holy Spirit.

This is just the beginning. I believe that some of you will go to Naalya and some will stay at Kati Kati, and in future I’ll be writing the same as some of you go to Entebbe, to Jinja, to Mbale, to Nairobi, to Tripoli, to Moscow, to Tokyo, to Rio de Janeiro, to London, to New York, to the uttermost ends of the earth to continue in resourcing people in worshipping God and serving others meaningfully.

Concerning Naalya, I believe that God is planting us in that location for a transformational purpose.

Welcome to the future.  Imagine with me a radius of five kilometers from our Naalya location, which will be like heaven on earth. Call it the heavenly circle. For those who studied math, Area = πr2 , and for a radius of five kilometers, that would be 78.6 square kilometers, roughly 80.

Imagine 80 square kilometers of the best planned neighborhoods, happiest families, paved roads, pedestrian walk ways, world class sports facilities, one of the best universities in the world, colleges, schools, the most amazing referral hospitals and clinics, thriving billionaire businesses, world class public transportation, the most civilized political systems (and campaigns), green spaces and lots of trees, great energy saving buildings (read sky scrapers),  the best media houses,  the best banks, great shopping spaces where you can buy ANYTHING (Ferrari dealership), and  great transformational word teaching people loving working together churches!

That is what I see in those 80 square kilometers, an image so vivid that even the satellite pictures are able to show that this circle is greener, well planned and happier. Let’s show the world that heaven is possible on earth. We are CATALYSTS.  Welcome to the revolution… the future is history!  Moses Mukisa (Sunday September 11, 2011)

About the author

Moses Mukisa

Moses Mukisa was born to Adlam and Merab Bamuzibire on March 29th 1976, and is the last born of six children. Having been orphaned at eight years, and then having his eldest brother murdered three years later, the chances of ever making it in life looked bleak. With his widowed mother being a primary school teacher and very poorly paid, it was only a miracle that he with all his siblings went through school.
In 1996, Moses lost his mother just two weeks before the national A level exams at which he had to excel, else the future was still uncertain. Having sat for those exams under such extraordinary circumstances, the Lord performed another miracle when he came out the 4th best in the sciences category in the whole country! He went on to university to study architecture. This was and still remains a turning moment; a cementing of trust.
While at Makerere university, Moses joined St Francis Chapel which had very great youth programs under Rev Canon Benoni Mugarura – Mutana. This led to a discovery of gifts and talents including music, teaching of the word and leadership. In December 2000, Moses mobilized many other people to start Come Alive Ministries, which later became Worship Harvest.
In 2005, Moses had a call from God to plant a unique church with a focus on resourcing people in worshiping God and serving others meaningfully. The church started in April 2006 and has grown to two congregations now. Worship Harvest still emphasizes the more traditional ministries of worship, fellowship, discipleship and evangelism; but has also redefined missions; engaging community in the areas of business/finance, education, health and governance or leadership.
At Worship Harvest, church begins on Monday!
God in His own grace has turned a child who grew up with no father and no material things to celebrate about into one who is being a father figure to many and creating a culture of transformation for many. Only God can tell where this story is going, but there is certainly already much to give thanks for.
